The 26th World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG) will be held October 11 – 15, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.  As the field of Psychiatric Genetics enjoys a period of rapid discovery, clinical psychiatry is moving toward a future where basic science discoveries are translated into genuine improvements in person-centred care. The 2018 WCPG ‘Bench, Brain, and Bedside’ will feature a wide-ranging programme of speakers and sessions that will appeal to scientists and clinicians alike, while also engaging with the public.

For 2018, we encourage submissions related to the broad field of psychiatric genetics and the following topics are of particular interest to the Program Committee:
1.   Cellular and animal models
2.   DNA and RNA sequencing related to psychiatric disorders and alcohol and substance abuse
3.   Ethical issues of new technologies
4.   Functional genomics
5.   Genetic counseling
6.   Imaging genetics
7.   Personalized medicine and pharmacogenomics
